21/03/2014

Club Fitness Holidays are pleased to announce that George Martini, one of the company's Course Directors and Zumba® holiday host, will be taking part in Strictly Oxford, a six week challenge for 16 celebrities to learn Modern & Latin dance.

Teaching Zumba® with Club Fitness Holidays for over 3 years, George began training with the creator of Zumba®, Beto Perez in 2006 and has built up an impressive following and is one of the UK’s most in demand Zumba® presenters.

He is hugely motivated by this challenge which is in aid of Vale House, a care home for Alzheimer and Dementia sufferers. The show will feature the celebrities performing a Latin and a Ballroom dance, with each celebrity partnered by a dancer from the Step by Step Dance School.

George says: “It's a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause whilst honing my Modern & Latin dance skills.”

Robert Thompson, Director of Club Fitness Holidays says: “We’re delighted to know George will be taking part in this show. He is very well liked by us and all our holidaymakers and we will definitely be supporting him.”

“Good luck and go for it George!” Says Robert.

His first Club Fitness Holiday was in Blackpool when the company was flooded with positive feedback about him.

“George’s energy and enthusiasm never fails to motivate me,” says Ros Bowles one of the happy dancers, who was taught by George on a Club Fitness Holiday. Another dancer, Julie Biggs says: “George makes the most amazing host and teacher and his classes are always great fun.”

George is licensed to teach Zumba®, Aqua Zumba®, Zumba Gold®, Zumba Sentao®, Zumbatomic®, The Masala Bhangra Workout, Fitsteps and Salsa. He also runs a Salsa company for children called Salsakids where he teaches Latin dance in schools.
